The newly updated Hurricane map condition for ARC Raiders, including the new raid caches, has attracted a lot of attention from players, including yourself. Note that regular day raids are still profitable, especially Buried City, where the gold and other rewards are plentiful, making it well worth exploring.
Before entering the map, you can carry a Looting Mk. 2. Looted equipment and valuable items can be placed in extra augment slots. Also, bring a level 4 Anvil with a silencer for defense against ambushes along the way, and a Burletta IV with a Compensator II and a Light Mag III for protection against any PvP.
Once you're ready, head straight to the alluring Buried City. Deciding which resources to keep and what to discard will be a sweet dilemma.
Step 1
Don't forget your essential Adrenaline Shot. Now, head to your destination for today, Buried City. First, you'll need some blueprints to prepare for your adventure. If you spawn at Grandioso Apartments, get moving before other players.
Besides blueprints, you'll need to gather more basic materials, as many projects require them. Therefore, focus on scavenging during your exploration. You'll likely find metal parts, plastic, chemicals, vases, cloth, and the like.
With luck, you might find the first beautiful snow globe, a Surveillance Key, and Seven Sorrows Rosary Metal. Of course, this is just the beginning of your adventure. Later on, obtaining more ARC Raiders Coins is your ultimate goal.
During the scavenging phase, prioritizing valuable items will improve your exploration efficiency. For example, you can disassemble plastic and a small bicycle pump and repack them. Touching containers on the map often yields unexpected rewards.
Your XP will also increase with these actions. Don't give up scavenging just because other players have already searched for items; everyone's choices are different. For instance, some players don't need crude materials, only chemicals. The cabinet contains many useful items, such as durable cloth and duct tape, which you'll need.
Step 2
Once you've looted enough, it's time to move on. To do this, strategically sort through the items in your backpack to improve efficiency. Items like speaker components can be discarded, except for making a cape. After all, a good weapon is key.
Now check out the little jump over location. With your previous looting experience, you can tell if the location has been looted by checking for an opening at the back. This is based on the assumption that players will leave from the back after their actions.
Head to the little jump over location by entering through the small window and then going up the stairs. Before jumping, remember to check for a Grenade Tube and avoid it to save your life.
By the way, if you want to get the Level 1 reward on Scrappy difficulty, Buried City will fulfill your wish. Afterwards, you can find some wires, a Recharger, a heavy fuse, and more metal, which is also the first Snap Hook of the season.
Step 3
Use the Snap Hook and jump immediately to save time. Don't use the roll tech again, or you'll want the Snap Hook to shatter right in front of you. So remember, this is an instinctive action you should avoid.
After landing, don't stop searching. You have a chance to get a double snow globe. Drop it into Trigger 'Nade; it's a friendly sign. You can also consider trading the sensor for a medium gun and the vase for double Sterilized Bandages.
Most players are drawn to the hurricane event, and the regular Buried City raid is holding a considerable amount of loot, waiting for you to farm - it's insane! So, it's best to estimate your inventory space wisely.
Step 4
After completing this, head straight to Santa Maria's house, taking everything with you. If you're considering discarding items, choose some common Durable Cloth and Rubber; you won't feel too bad about it. Santa Maria houses are a worthwhile looting spot on the map.
Be wary of potential battles with other players. Conserve your energy and try to escape or hide to avoid a Pyrrhic victory. The last place to check is Red Tower; if you're lazy, you'll definitely miss the cat beds and very comfortable pillows.
Before going inside, don't miss the items in the corners of the rooftops. These are places you might easily overlook while looting. You'll find things like a backpack or fabric. Hidden corners are often the most neglected areas.
When choosing to evacuate, you'll have two options: jump down using the hatch key or walk directly to the extraction point. Afterwards, take stock of your loot. You'll be amazed by the sheer quantity - a massive amount of loot that will largely satisfy all your needs.
This is the experience and rewards you'll get from looting in Buried City in ARC Raiders. For those who prioritize obtaining ARC Raiders Items, Buried City is the best choice, even during the day.
