Pokemon GO announced that it will debut Tinkatink and its evolutions in Pokemon Horizons: The Series Celebration event. It is a super popular Pokemon in Generation 9. The event will be held between 10 am on April 16, 2025 and 8 pm on April 22, 2025, and will include special bonuses, field research tasks, shiny Pokemon encounters, and more.
Tinkatink
Since 21 Gen 9 Pokemon from Paldea region first landed in Pokemon GO in September 2023, the development team has maintained a steady pace of updates. From three initial Pokemon - Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly and their evolutions, to the cute little ones such as Lechonk and Pawmot that have caused heated discussions in the community, to featured Pokemons such as Shroodle and Grafaiai added this year, every expansion of Paldea illustrated book has touched the hearts of trainers around the world.
Tinkatink, announced this time, is one of the most recognizable Pokemon in the ninth generation. This fairy/steel Pokemon holding an iron hammer has long been at the top of the popularity rankings in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet due to its unique fighting style and contrasting cute image. Tinkaton has a usage rate of more than 50% among trainers in Paldea region, and its iconic skill Gigaton Hammer is even jokingly called by players - the cutest killer move that hammers everything.
Obtain Method
During the event, trainers can obtain Tinkatink and its Evolutions in the following ways:
- Hatching at 7 km Eggs: This is an exclusive acquisition channel during the event.
- Evolution system: Players can evolve Tinkatink into Tinkatuff by using 25 Tinkatink Candies, and then evolve into Tinkaton by consuming 100 Tinkatink Candies.
It is worth noting that Tinkatink players can still hatch from 10 km Eggs after the event ends. However, it is recommended that trainers seize the golden period of the event during the seven days, because during the event, when placing eggs in Incubators, Egg Hatch Distance is 1/2. Here is a little trick: Use Pokemon Go PokeCoins obtained during the event to purchase Incubators, and with the limited-time bonus of 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance, the player’s hatching efficiency can be greatly improved.
