Intergalactic The Heretic Prophet Will Be Very Similar To Elden Ring

At last year’s TGA awards ceremony, Naughty Dog officially announced its new game Intergalactic The Heretic Prophet. Recently, Ben Hanson, the host of YouTube MinnMax blog program, shared that before The Heretic Prophet was officially announced, a Naughty Dog developer revealed to him that the studio’s new game would give players a high degree of freedom, and the game structure would be similar to Elden Ring!

Intergalactic The Heretic Prophet Will Be Very Similar To Elden Ring

“I think it can be said now. At that time, the staff told me that the game was compared to Elden Ring!” Ben Hanson revealed, “If I said before The Heretic Prophet was announced, ‘Naughty Dog’s new game is like Elden Ring’, after the trailer was released, these expectations would cause a great response.”

It is worth mentioning that Naughty Dog director Neil Druckmann and 28 Days Later screenwriter Alex Garland recently talked about the concept of the new work. He said that Intergalactic The Heretic Prophet will bring a more cruel experience-extreme loneliness. Players play as bounty hunter Jordan, who will crash-land on the foggy and shadowy planet Sempiria while hunting her target, and face this strange and dangerous world alone.

“The whole religion takes place on this planet, and then at a certain point, all communication stops,” said Neil Druckmann. “You play as a bounty hunter chasing a bounty, and she crash-lands on this planet.”

The first trailer for The Heretic Prophet, while impressive, offers little in terms of actual game details. Know that the game is set in a retro-futuristic sci-fi world - an alternative history timeline heavily influenced by the 1980s. The game’s protagonist, Jordan A. Mun, is a dangerous bounty hunter who is tracking a man named Colin Graves. In the process, she crash-lands on a planet called Sempiria, which has been isolated from the outside world for centuries.

Neil Druckmann shared more details about the game, revealing that the game is about faith and religion. He revealed that the game tells the story of a fairly famous religion that has changed, mixed, and evolved over the years.

Although Naughty Dog has always been known for its superb technical skills and excellent scripts, its style is always far from Elden Ring. Assuming that The Heretic Prophet really draws inspiration from Elden Ring, I think it will be difficult for it to bring a similar experience to players. Here I just want to say one thing: Elden Ring can customize the appearance of the character, but can Intergalactic The Heretic Prophet do it?
