A few days ago, WoW MoP Classic released patch 5.5.1, which applies to Phase 2. It will officially launch on September 23rd. Phase 2 not only improves upon previous gameplay but also adds new content. Let’s explore these features below.
It introduces Krasarang Wilds zone and the return of Brawler's Guild that appeared in MoP Classic phase 1. It also features the highly anticipated PvE and PvP gear upgrade system, and new content has been added to Legendary questline. Let’s discuss these aspects in detail.
1. Innovation
Krasarang Wilds, a key zone in MoP Classic‘s Pandaria, continues the main storyline and introduces Landfall Campaign, where players can establish their own camp. In Phase 2, it becomes the main campaign zone and adds five new scenarios. This further provides PvE players with new challenging objectives and rewards.
Brawler's Guild from Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 1 returns in this phase. Access to Brawler's Guild requires players to possess a Blood-Soaked Invitation, which can be obtained from Black Market Auction House, by killing specific Horde and Alliance NPCs in Krasarang Wilds, or through a Friend's Invitation in Brawler's Guild.
It provides a unique venue for PvE players to test their skills in one-on-one battles against bosses. Twenty-eight new bosses have been added in this phase. As the boss's level continues to increase, the difficulty players encounter also continues to increase.
Victory will increase your rank, leading to new quest rewards such as WoW MoP Classic Gold or a battle pet.
Phase 2 introduces a limited-time XP bonus. To help level 85-90 players level faster in Pandaria, the experience bonus has been increased from 10% to 65%, helping them gain access to new alts and mains in Pandaria more quickly. This change will help players level up faster and reduce unnecessary processing.
The faction war questline from Classic MoP continues. Increasing your reputation with Black Prince faction is crucial to unlocking this questline. Players earn Revered by completing daily quests and killing monsters in locations like Dread Wastes, Vale of Four Winds, and Isle of Thunder.
After completing the questline, Blacktalon Quartermaster will award a commendation: Eye of Black Prince, which adds a Prismatic Socket to Sha-Touched weapons.

2. Changes
In the new phase, PvP titles and rewards have changed. Gladiator and Rank 1 titles will appear not only in traditional 3v3 combinations, but also in 2v2 and 5v5. Players who obtain a Gladiator will be given a special new title, Undisputed Gladiator. Some players are pleased with this change, believing it to be a meaningful improvement and hoping for more rewards in future PvP innovations.
In the new phase of Mists of Pandaria Classic, both PvE and PvP players will have their gear upgraded.
PvE
PvE players can convert Valor Points into Justice Points through Commendations of Justice to upgrade Epic Gear and Rare Gear at a 1:4 conversion ratio. Epic Gear can be upgraded by four item levels for 1,000 Justice Points, which are redeemed for 250 Valor Points. Rare Gear can be upgraded by eight item levels for 750 Justice Points.
PvP
Players use Commendations of Honor to convert Conquest points into Honor points to upgrade Epic and Rare Gear, with a conversion ratio of 1:4. Because Epic Gear can be upgraded twice, a full upgrade requires 2,000 Honor points, which are redeemed for 500 Conquest points. Rare Gear can be upgraded eight item levels for just 750 Honor points.
This provides increased flexibility for both players, as they are no longer restricted to using individual points for upgrades. Furthermore, the conversion ratio further reduces the cost of upgrading, eliminating the need to waste precious Valor Points and Honor Points.
