Recently, the developer of Lost Ark updated a post about the latest Lost Ark Academy, which focused on the updated Artist Class. This Artist Class will be able to use Drawing as one of its Combat Skills.

Artist Class can attack the enemy directly or choose to draw a beast to help him fight together during the battle. At the same time, Artist Class also has access to Illusion Powers. Because Artist Class is temporarily the first Specialist Advanced Class in Lost Ark, its skills are quite different for players.

Artist Class is nothing like any other normal Class players have seen before in Lost Ark. Artist Class, as a brand new Class category, is quite unique among the game’s other job rosters.

Artist Class Summons allies with the paintbrush as a weapon. This allows Artist Class to be used as a support class while still being able to deal some damage to enemies.

Artist Class has two fundamental skills. The first is Masterwork: Spectacle, which allows players to capture enemies in a giant scroll while dealing massive damage and reducing their defenses and movement speed. This skill is very suitable for players to use when playing with teammates, so that players can cause more damage to enemies during battle.

The second skill is Masterwork: Eflorescence, which can attack enemies by attracting petals to create a whirlwind, and at the same time provide a protective barrier for teammates.

At the same time, Artist Class also has a special ability of Harmony Orbs, which can further enhance Artist’s two fundamental skills. At the same time, it can also display two powerful skills, Moonfall or Sunrise, which can increase the damage output in a short time or provide healing for injured teammates.

Players can further enhance their Harmony Orb abilities by increasing the attributes of Artist Class. Players can choose to boost Sunrise’s healing stats, or use Moonfall to temporarily crit enemies.

Therefore, Artist Class can be both an effective support and a strong damage output. It mostly depends on how the player wants to use Artist Class. Among them, the player can also improve his healing ability through Full Bloom, or increase his damage ability through Recurrence.

The publisher stated that while maintaining the authenticity of Artist Class in the original patch, it will also change the character image of Artist Class, which is more suitable for Western aesthetics and conforms to Western game specifications.
